Living Spaces
There’s something about late summer that makes us look at home a little differently.
The doors are still open, evenings still spill into the garden and we’re holding onto every last bit of summer — but there’s a subtle shift in the air. The light starts to soften, evenings become a little cooler and, almost without noticing, we begin turning our attention back towards home.
Welcome to Issue 04 of The Issea Edit: Living Spaces.
This issue is a celebration of the spaces we make our own — the rooms, corners and outdoor places where everyday life happens, and the little details that make them feel special.
The spaces we live in
For us, a beautiful home has never been about everything being perfectly styled.
It’s about how a space feels.
A favourite mug left beside a book. Fresh flowers on the kitchen table. A beautiful hand wash by the sink. A candle burning as the evening draws in. A throw draped over the sofa, ready for when the temperature drops.
They’re small things, but together they create the feeling of home.
And at this time of year, our living spaces stretch beyond four walls.
Breakfast outside. An afternoon coffee in the garden. Drinks around the table as the sun goes down. Bringing a throw outside when the evening turns cooler.

Late summer has a way of blurring the line between indoors and out — and we love it.
Make it yours
The best living spaces tell you something about the people who live there.
Colour. Texture. Fragrance. Ceramics collected over time. Glassware you love enough to use every day. Books piled on a table. Candles, flowers, photographs and all those slightly imperfect details that make a home feel lived in.
We don’t think beautiful things should be saved for special occasions.
Light the candle.
Use the lovely glass.
Put the flowers in your favourite vase.
Wrap yourself in the good throw.
Sometimes making everyday life feel a little more special really is that simple.
A little seasonal shift
As August moves on, there’s also that first hint of a new season ahead.
We’re not quite ready to say goodbye to summer yet, but we are beginning to crave softer textures, warmer evenings at home and those comforting little rituals that come with the changing seasons.
Over the next few weeks, some familiar favourites will be returning to Issea alongside new pieces we’ve carefully chosen for the months ahead — beautiful throws, glassware, candles, hand wash and more.
Not quite autumn.
Just the beginning of that lovely shift towards it.
The Issea Edit
As always, Issue 04 isn’t about changing everything.
It’s about noticing what you already have, choosing pieces you genuinely love and creating spaces that feel like you 🤍
Because ultimately, the best living spaces aren’t necessarily the most perfect ones.
They’re the ones you want to spend time in.
